Shoot for Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas' Bollywood debut begins in Hyderabad,S S Rajamouli gives muhurat clap

Shooting for Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas' much awaited Bollywood debut has commenced in Hyderabad with Bahubali director S S Rajamouli giving the clap for the Muhurat shot.

Actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, renowned director VV Vinayak and successful production house of Bollywood Pen Studios have joined hands for the Bollywood project which is official remake of r SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster movie Chatrapathi.

The yet untitled movie will be directed by VV Vinayak, and Produced by Pen Studios .

The mass action entertainer film was launched today at a grand ceremony in Hyderabad in the  presence of  Bellamkonda Sreenivas, VV Vinayak, Dr. Jayantilal Gada, and few special guests including Rajamouli and Sukumar .

Rajamouli  sounded clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while star Rama Rajamouli switched on the camera and producer AM Ratnam did the honorary direction.

The script was handed over to the makers by Vijayendra Prasad.

A grand set has been constructed at the shooting location of Rangasthalam village where the film’s  inaugural schedule is being held.

Speaking at  the Muhurtham ,  Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Director at Pen Studios said, “We are tremendously excited and thrilled as this is one of our grand projects  with talented actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and renowned Director VV Vinayak. We are confident that this collaboration will be loved by the audience and will make history in the Indian cinema.”

After proving his mettle as one of the most happening stars of Tollywood, Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, who is well-known to the audiences of North Indian, is all set to make his entry in Bollywood with this mega-budget venture.

Bellamkonda will be stepping into the shoes of ‘Baahubali’ fame Prabhas for theHindi version of Chatrapathi 

Tollywood’s mass director VV Vinayak who has numerous blockbusters to his credit in Telugu cinema,  is also set to make his debut in Bollywood with this project.

Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the story for the original, is the writer for the remake version as well.

Known as a writer for blockbuster Hindi films such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Manikarnika, he made few changes to the script to suit the tastes and sensibilities of Hindi speaking audiences.

The film is presented by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios,  who is Known for making critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies, and produced by Dhaval Gada and Aksshay Gada.

Worldwide Distribution will be by Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment. Pen studios will be making the film on a grand scale without compromising on the budget.

Cast of the film includes Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika and Jason.



Tollywood director Vinayak will make his debut in Bollywood with this project.
