Shweta Tiwari and Ashwat Bhatt shoot in Delhi for short story segment of upcoming anthology Swad

Anthologies seem to be the flavour on the digital screen.

After successful Anthologies like Lust stories,  stories of Rabindranath Tagore,  Ajeeb Daastaans,  Ray,  Feels Like Ishq and Navarasa,  another anthology Swad is set to streamed on OTT soon.

Shooting for a short story segment the anthology Swad  is being held at Palam farms in Delhi.

Actors Shweta Tiwari and Ashwat Bhatt were seen Shooting for the short story,  which will be a part of the anthology .

Being produced by Deepti Gupta, Deepak Gupta and Sachin Gupta under the banner of Chilsag Pictures and Treasure Tales, Swad is being directed abd Written by Sachin Gupta.

Director of the anthology said that Swad will have four episodes Shweta and Ashwat will be the part of second episode of the  anthology series.

The starcast for the remaining two episodes of Swad is yet to be decided.

Speaking about the short story,Sachin said," Shweta and Ashwat are shooting for a short film which is one of the Stories in SWAD. It  is a rom-com, light hearted and fun to watch story. Ashwat and Shweta are playing the role of a married couple in this story. I  am sure the audience will like the sweetness of this story."

Taking about the anthology,  Director Sachin Gupta says, " Swad is all about different flavours and moments of life. The film has four stories and I hope they add different flavours to your life which is nowadays missing.'

Shooting for the different short story segments of Swad is being held in various parts of the city .

Shooting for the first story segment of the anthology series,  which features Ashnoor Kaur and Saanand Verma, was held at Preet Vihar in East Delhi last month.

Swad will be released on an OTT platform soon..

Last few years have seen release of several Anthologies on the digital screen.  These include the short stories by Rabindranath Tagore,  Ajeeb Daastaans,  Ray,  Feels Like Ishq,  Lust stories, Chutzpah and Navarasa.

Coming days will witness release of the anthology Ankahi Kahaniyan on Netflix.

With the abatement of the second wave of COVID-19 and dip in covid-19 cases in the country,  various state governments have allowed the commencement of various activities,  including opening of malls and shooting for films, television shows and web series in their respective states.

While shooting has commenced in various districts in Maharashtra following a dip in Covid cases, Delhi government has allowed commencement of shooting at film city of Noida and other locations in Delhi.
