Ankahi Kahaniyan, anthology of stories exploring love, loss and longing to stream on Netflix from Sep 17

After successful Anthologies Ajeeb Daastaans, Ray, Feels Like Ishq and Navarasa, Netflix is now ready with another anthology exploring love, loss and longing in the city of dreams Mumbai.

Ankahi Kahaniyan,  an anthology of stories by three acclaimed directors Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari,  Abhishek Chaubey and Saket Chaudhary that explore feeling of love and loneliness,  will stream on Netflix from September 17.

Produced by RSVP Movies of Ronnie Screwvala,  Ankahi Kahaniyan will take viewers through the complex path of love where love often turns into betrayal.

Ankahi Kahaniyan features an ensemble of actors comprising Kunal Kapoor,  Zoya Hussain,  Nikhil Dwivedi,  Palomi Ghosh, Abhishek Banerjee, Rinku Rajguru and Dilzaad Hiwale.

Talking about her story, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari,  who has earlier helmed films like Nil Battey Sannatta and Panga, said, "With every story I want to challenge myself as a storyteller and create varied emotional connections between the viewers and the characters that will last in their minds for a while. I hope with this story I can captivate the imagination of movie lovers with questions of untold and unanswered emotions every human goes through. I am very glad that our story will reach the world with Netflix belief and impact.

Speaking about his story,  director Abhishek Chaubey said that his film explores young live in the world of single screen theatres.

'When you are young and caged in Mumbai,  looking for love is a sweet escape.  And what better way than to find it in the movie,howsoever fleetingly. This filmmjs extremely close to mybheart and I am excited for everyone to watch it,'Abhishek Chaubey said.

The third short story in the anthology has been directed by Saket Chaudhary and features actors Kunal Kapoor,  Zoya Hussain,  Nikhil Dwivedi and Palomi Ghosh.

'Love stories have always been one of my favourite genres. It usca pleasure to be a part of Ankahi Kahaniyan thriving story scheme. It has been great working alongside a talented set of directors and collaborating with Netflix for this anthology,'Chaudhary said.

Ankahi Kahaniyan is the latest in the series of Anthologies on Netflix,  after successful Anthologies Ajeeb Daastaans,  Ray, Feels Like Ishq and Navarasa which explored various human emotions.
