Sony LIV & Applause Entertainment celebrate 1 year of Scam 1992 ,launch new track  Jiya Main Khul Ke

As accolades  and awards pour in for the successful web series Scam 1992,  streaming on Sony Liv , the producers Applause Entertainment  are celebrating one year of the show by unveiling an unreleased track  Jiya Main Khul Ke .

On the occasion of one year of release of the web series, which has been produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Studio Next, Applause launched the track Jiya Main Khul Ke, penned by Karan Vyas and Manthan Kanani and composed by Achint Thakkar.

On the occasion of one year of Scam 1992, Sony Liv and Applause Entertainment launch an unreleased track Jiya Main Khul Ke 



Achint Thakkar's theme music for Scam 1992 got immortalized in the minds of viewers during release.

Created by Bay Music House, Jiya Main Khul Ke has been sung by Vatsal Joshi and Atharv Joshi and is in strong resonance with the character of Harshad Mehta in the series.

Based on the stock market fraud of 1992 that shook India, SonyLIV’s Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story,  received a mind- boggling response upon its release in 2020. What followed next was a year of accolades, awards and benchmarks, pouring in for the show as well as its headliner Pratik Gandhi, who forayed into digital and immediate stardom as Harshad Mehta.

SonyLIV’s Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story boasts of a stellar cast including Pratik Gandhi, Shreya Dhanwathary, Hemant Kher, Chirag Vohra, Anjali Barot, Brinda Trivedi, Jay Upadhyay, Sharib Hashmi, Satish Kaushik, Anant Mahadevan, Rajat Kapoor, Nikhil Dwivedi, K K Raina and Lalit Parimoo.

Directed by National Award-winning director Hansal Mehta, the show is adapted from the book, ‘The Scam’ authored by well-known journalists Sucheta Dalal and Debashish Basu.
