Break point; a rivetting and insightful tale of Lee Hesh journey from bromance to break up

The story of spectacular rise of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi,  the iconic pair of Indian tennis who brought for the country its first doubles crown in the Grand Slam,  and their tragic break up,  has fascinated sports lovers over the years .

An inside story of the journey of Paes and Bhupathi from their bromance to their tragic split is sought to be narrated in the new documentary drama Break Point,  which is currently being streamed on Zee5.

Break Point is a riveting story of the journey of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi from bromance to break up 



Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tewari and Nitesh Tiwari,  Break Point takes viewers through the spectacular rise of the iconic doubles pair of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi in the early 90s and their subsequent  split  .

Spanning seven episodes,  Break Point  takes viewers through the  untold story of the coming together of Leander Paes  and Mahesh Bhupathi in the late 80s to form an unbeatable doubles pair who got the country its first grand slam in 1999 and their bitter split subsequently to their misunderstandings off the tennis court and their differing perspectives of business  deals.

Through first hand accounts from family members,  friends and coaches of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi as well as professionals  from the tennis world, Break Point manges to tell a riveting and insightful story about the spectacular rise of the iconic Tennis doubles pair of India in the 90s, which resulted in India winning the Wimbledon and the French Open in 1999, and their subsequent.split in 2006.

The seven episode docu drama seeks to unravel the unanswered questions on the story of Lee-Hesh from bromance to break up. 

Ashwini Iyer Tewari and  Nitesh Tiwari take viewers through the story of friendship, brotherhood, partnership, belief, hard-work and ambition of two of the greatest tennis champions.

The documentary drama series takes an insightful look into the friendship, camaraderie and bromance of the two players on the court as well as into their differing perspectives on life and their business dealings off court which eventually led to their split.

It is definitely a must watch for the lovers of the sport and those curious to know the reasons for the split between Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.
