Long distance love story Meenakshi Sundareshwar streams on Netflix on Diwali

They say that In love, the distances do not matter.

After a long wait, Meenakshi Sundareshwar,  the much anticipated film about the various hassles and hiccups faced by a couple forced in a long distance relationship and the hilarious situations arising from their long distance marriage, streams on Netflix from Diwali. 





Meenakshi Sundareshwar will stream on Netflix from Diwali 



Netflix shared with viewers a teaser promo of the web series,  which features Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani as a South Indian couple in a long distance relationship.

Sharing the promo of the film, Sanya Malhotra said, 'Chahe distance long ho ya short, sab cheezein workout ho jaati hai agar pyaar ho toh. So taiyaar ho jaiye Sundareshwar aur meri pyaar bhari ye long distance marriage dekhne ke liye #MeenakshiSundaresheswar coming to Netflix on November 5.'

The film’s lead actor Abhimanyu Dassani also shared the release date of the film on social media.

'Get ready to fall in love because Meenakshi and I are coming to set long distance relationship goals for all our beloved couples,'he said.

Produced by Dharma Productions and directed by VivekSoni,  Meenakshi Sundareshwar is the story of a couple Meenakshi and Sundareshwar who are forced to live apart due to a unique job prospect.

Set in Madhuri in Tamil Nadu, Meenakshi Sundareshwar takes the viewers through the hassles and hiccups faced by the newly weds and hilarity that arise from their long-distance marriage.

The film has created a lot of buzz among viewers for its unconventional theme .

Meenakshi Sundareshwar marks the digital debut of Abhimanyu Dassani,  who has earlier worked in the film Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota.

Sanya Malhotra was earlier this year seen in the film Pugglait  on Netflix.  She was also seen in Anurag Basu’s Ludo,  which was streamed on Netflix and Shakuntala Devi , streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
