Pooja Bhatt & Sunny Deol to share screen space in psychological thriller Chup inspired by Guru Dutt's life

On the death anniversary of legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt, filmmaker has shared the motion poster of his next directorial venture Chup; Revenge of an Artist which is inspired by the life of Guru Dutt.

Written and directed by R Balki,  Chup; Revenge of an artist will witness Bollywood actor and MP Sunny Deol share screen space with actress Pooja Bhatt.

Produced by Hope Productions and Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Chup; Revenge of an artist features Sunny Deol in the lead with Pooja Bhatt  with Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary playing pivotal roles.

Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar expressed their excitement over the film and shared the motion poster of the film on their social media handles.

Shreya Dhanwanthary said that being a part of the project featuring Sunny Deol is a dream come true for her.

Chup ; The Revenge of an artist  is said to be inspired by the turbulnt life of legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt.

The film is scheduled for release in 2022.

Known for cult films like CID, Aar Paar, Pyaasa, Saheb Biwi Aur Ghulam, Kaagaz Ke Phool and Chaudhavin Ka Chand , Guru Dutt had a turbulent personal life.

Sunny Deol was last seen in the film Mohalla Assi .

He will in the coming months be seen in the film Apne 2, featuring Dharmendra,  Sunny Deol and his son Karan Deol.
