Chehre to have its World Television Premiere on Sony Max on February 19

After entertaining audiences in theatres and OTT,  the Amitabh Bachchan Emraan Hashmi starrer Chehre will have its World Television Premiere on Sony Max on February 19.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan revealed this in a post on Instagram.

'Lateef Zaidi ki fight judgement ke literally nahi, hamesha justice ke liye hoti Hai. IS baar main kiska chehra leke among sabke saamne? Only way to find out is to watch the World Television Premiere of Chehre, premiering tomorrow,  only on Sony Max at 8 pm,'Mr Bachchan said.

A psychological thriller directed by Rumy Jafery and produced by Anand Pandit with Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited, Chehre starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles with Krystle D'Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Alexx O'Nell, Samir Soni, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav in supporting roles.

Said to be an adaptation  of the 1956 German novel A Dangerous Game by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, which had earlier been adapted in Marathi as Shantata! Court Chaalu Aahe (1971), in Kannada as Male Nilluvavarege (2015) and in Bengali as Anusandhan (2021), Chehre released in theatres on August 27 amid Covid ,resulting in a lukewarm response at the box office.

Later, it released on Amazon Prime Video.
