Durgamati: The Myth to air on Sony Max on June 28

Durgamati: The Myth,  a horror film with an element of thrill that entertained cinelovers  on OTT in 2020, is all set to be telecast on Sony on Sony Max.

Durgamati: The Myth’, featuring Bhumi Pednekar in a dual role, is the perfect dose of adrenaline one would require to amp up one's otherwise not-so-interesting Tuesday.

A USP of the film is its strong female protagonists . From Bhumi’s high octane performance of transitioning from Chanchal Chauhan to Durgamati, to Mahie Gill essaying the role of a CBI joint director with her oh-so-cute Bengali accent- the film is  blessed with female protagonists like no other!

With an awe-striking blend of unconventionality, horror and drama, this conspiracy thriller is indeed a genre breaking film. G.Ashok’s great direction coupled with power packed performances by Bhumi Pednekar, Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill makes it a must watch!

Durgamati The Myth is a film that engages audiences with an intriguing storyline. Unpredictability in a horror-thriller movie is literally what makes or breaks a fil. In Durgamati: The Myth’ , the narrative slowly develops as the movie proceeds, making it an effortless yet visually engaging tale of the Hindu Queen, whose spirit takes possession of Bhumi in the film.

A horror film with the perfect comic timing, Durgamati  is quite a visual feast of Horror, Comedy, and Mythology. It does a wonderful job at easing the audience in with its cleverly timed comical references. Not to forget, the way the film manages to add the perfect bit of comedy without deviating from the plot is Parfait!
