After a lacklustre show by Bollywood films released in cinemas in recent months, the romantic comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo has taken a rocking start at the box office in India with collections of Rs 21 cr in its first two days.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which took a good opening of nearly Rs 9 cr on Friday, saw a huge jump in its collections on Saturday to Rs 12 cr, taking the two day earnings of the film to Rs 21 cr.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which marks Neetu Kapoor's return to the arclights after a long gap since her last film Besharam, saw a 40 per cent jump in its collections on Saturday.
The film, which features Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Koli in pivotal roles, has done excellent business in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat.
Trade experts say that the film could witness a further jump on Sunday.
The rocking start taken by Jug Jugg Jeeyo makes it among the highest earning Hindi films post the pandemic, the others being The Kashmir Files and Bhool Bhulaiya2.
Recent months have witnessed several Bollywood films, including big starrers like Jersey, Runway 34 and Dhaakad, take an average opening at box office.
