Suneil Shetty attends event to create awareness about drug abuse and illegal trafficking

On the eve of 'International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking', Bollywood Actor and Producer Suniel Shetty took part in an event organised by Central Bureau Of Narcotics (CBN).
At the event, which was held at Karameer Sports Complex in Andheri Mumbai, Suniel Shetty, while taking part as a special guest, spoke passionately about the cause and urged people to not fall into the trap of drug addiction and appealed to them to lead a healthy life.

Suniel Shetty said that drug addicts should not be treated as hardcore criminals and shouldn't be stigmatized or victimized.
'Rather, our society should have a sympathetic approach towards them and help them to come out of such life threatening habits,'Suniel Shetty said.
The event was also attended by Mr. Rajesh F. Dhabre, Narcotics Commisioner (Central Bureau Of Naracotics) and Dr. Sarika Dakshikar, Associate Professor (Gokuldas Tejpal Hospital, Mumbai).
Addressing the event, Mr. Rajesh F. Dhabre, Narcotics Commisioner (Central Bureau Of Naracotics) said, "today we had a very comprehensive workshop where we covered all aspects of drug addictions and drug trafficking - from legal and health consequences. Through such workshops, our main motive is to decrease the crime rate in the society and help people understand the consequences of drug addiction. We have taken a pledge to make India drug addiction free society".
