After the success of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, Netflix is set to stream a thriller about six ordinary  people coming together to defraud a politician,  fuelled by their desire for revenge.

Choona, a thriller about six people from average background joining hands to defraud a powerful politician Shukla, who has wronged them in the past, fuelled by their desire for revenge.

Produced by Flying Saucer and written and directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra, Choona stars Bollywood actor Jimmy Shergill in the lead role with Ashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Chandan Roy, Namit Das, Gyanendra Tripathi,  Atul Srivastava and Monika Panwar in pivotal roles.

For Jimmy Shergill,  who was last seen in the web series Your Honour on Sony Liv  and  in the Gangster drama Aazam, Choona is his first show with Netflix.

Jimmy Shergill is excited about Choona.

''Choona is my first outing with Netflix and I am looking forward to it.   I am constantly locking for stories that push me to explore my capabilities as an actor.,'Jimmy said.

Jimmy said that as an audience,  he is looking to do stories that are engaging,  character driven and bring out the rich cultural heritage of India.

'Choona gives me an opportunity to assay a character that is spiteful yet appealing.  The story itself is high spirited,  captive and engaging, 'he said.

Jimmy Shergill was last seen in the web series Your Honour on Sony Liv.  He also appeared in a key role in the Gangster drama Aazam.
