Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire now streaming on Netflix

After a successful run at the box office, action thriller Salaar part 1 Ceasefire is now streaming on Netflix.

Written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire, the first part of an action thriller starring Superstar Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, began streaming on Netflix from January 20.

Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire  features a supporting cast comprising Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tina Anand,  Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju.

Set in  the fictional city state of Khansaar,  the film follows the friendship between Deva(Prabhas) , a tribesmen, and Varadha(Prithviraj) , the prince of Khansaar.

When a couple d'etat is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives,  Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler..

Released in theatres on December 22 last year in standard and IMAX formats,  Salaar  Part 1 Ceasefire, the first of a two part series , is a huge success at the box office.

The film was released in the original Telugu version and dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Made on a budget of Rs 270 cr, Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire earned Rs 715 cr at the box office.  It has become the highest grossing Telugu film of 2023 and 11th highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire marks the first collaboration between Prabhas and Prashant Neel. It also the first time that Shruti Haasan has been paired opposite Prabhas.

The film also marks the return of Prithviraj Sukumaran to Telugu cinema after Police Force(2010).
