Shooting for Amitabh Deepika Prabhas starrer begins in Hyderabad

With easing of Covid related restrictions across the country paving way for commencement of shooting for films,  television shows and web series,  shooting for several new films is being held in various states.

The latest film to go on the floors is the Amitabh Bachchan,  Deepika Padukone and Prabhas starrer being directed by South Indian filmmaker Nag Ashwin.

Shooting for the film, tentatively titled Project K, commenced in Hyderabad on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima.

South Indian superstar Prabhas gave the muhurat clap for the film while superstar Amitabh Bachchan faced the camera for the opening shot.

Sharing a picture of the muhurat shot,  Amitabh Bachchan said, 'what an honour to be behind the clap being given by the iconic that created Cinematic magical waves throughout the country and the world with Baahubali.'

Tentatively titled Project K, hhe film also Co stars Deepika Padukone in a key role.

Amitabh Bachchan had recently shot for the film Goodbye.

Shooting for the Ali Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi was also held in Mumbai recently after the Maharashtra government allowed shooting for films, television shows and web series as part of its five level unlock process in the state following a dip in covid-19 cases.
