Journey in creating something refreshing in Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul is rewarding: Sayantani Ghosh

After entertaining audiences with her sweet love story in Tera Yaar Hoon Main on Sony SAB,  actress Sayantani Ghosh is back on the small screen in an extraordinary role in the magnum opus Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul,  being telecast on the channel.

Sayantani Ghosh will be adding another gem to the cast of the adventure mystery,
essaying the role of television’s first Sim Sim, thus personifying the charm of the mystical tale.

As she gets ready to hook viewers with her charm in Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul,  touted as India’s biggest family entertainer,  Sayantani Ghosh said that her Journey in creating something so refreshing has been rewarding.




Sayantani Ghosh to assay the role of television’s first Sim Sim in Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul 



Excited at playing the role of Sim Sim, Sayantani Ghosh said, “I cannot wait for our beloved fans to explore Sim Sim’s identity, which is definitely more than a mere command or location!  The journey in creating something so refreshing is rewarding. '

Talking about her preparations for the role,  Sayantani Ghosh said, 'being true to the character comes with its own physical and emotional demands- be it the long make-up and dressing hours or shooting on a harness to fly all day long. However, Sim Sim’s brilliantly written role makes it all worth it. '

Talking about her character,  the actress said, 'unlike traditionally misunderstood “villains”, Sim Sim is driven by love and becomes the ringmaster to orchestrate the narrative in ‘Alibaba-Dastaan-e-Kabul’. She doesn't shy away from being vulnerable. I look forward to seeing what Sim Sim grows to represent for our viewers!”

Launched on Sony SAB on August 22, Alibaba Dastaan E Kabul brings alive on the small screen the legendary tale of Alibaba and forty thieves.

 Touted as  India’s biggest family entertainer, Alibaba Dastaan E Kabul has been keeping viewers on edge of their seats with the grandeur of the set, spectacular production value and exciting twists to the age-old story .

Sayantani Ghosh as Sim Sim adds another gem to the brilliant cast led by Sheezan M Khan as Alibaba and Tunisha Sharma as Princess Mariam.

Those associated with the show say that Sayantani Ghosh's characterisation  of  television’s first Sim Sim is even better than the legendary cave.

 , Sayantani Ghosh is known for her captivating performances, having mesmerized the fans with her commendable acting and effortless grace.

Alibaba-Dastaan-e-Kabul is being telecast on Sony SAB , from Monday to Saturday at 8:00 pm.
