As India celebrates its 76th Independence day,  actor Yukti Kapoor says that for her Patriotism is not just a feeling but an act also, something which can be pledged in several ways like fighting a war for the country to making a difference in the society in their own way.

In a chat on Independence Day,  Yukti Kapoor prayed for the brave soldiers fighting on the borders to ensure the security of the country and safety of its people .

"For me, patriotism is not just a feeling but an act as well. It can be pledged in so many ways; from fighting a war for the country to making a difference in the society we live as an individual in the smallest or biggest way possible.

It would be wrong   to celebrate this day without remembering the contributions of our great freedom fighters. They lived and died for this nation,Yukti Kapoor said.

Praying for the safety and security of the brave hearts guarding the borders,  Yukti Kapoor said, 'my earnest prayers and wishes for all the brave souls fighting at the border, to ensure our safety. And to all their families as well. Their sacrifice to the nation is enormous.

It takes immense courage and strength to see your loved one fight on the border for the nation. My utmost respect and gratitude for all of them.   May our great nation continue to shine bright and may every Indian continue to bring glory to this vibrant nation. Jai Hind.'''
