Mariam in Alibaba Dastaan E Kabul is different from any of my previous roles: Tunisha Sharma

She has attracted attention of cinelovers with her uncanny resemblance to Katrina Kaif in films like Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho, earning her the tag of television’s Katrina Kaif.
In recent weeks, Tunisha Sharma has also grabbed eyeballs as Princess Mariam in the fantasy adventure Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul, that premieres on Sony SAB on August 22.

Ahead of the telecast of Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul, Tanisha Sharma said that she is excited and looks forward to reaction to the show and her portrayal of Mariam in it.
"I’m ecstatic to be a part of Alibaba Dastaan-e-Kabul and work with an immensely talented team of cast and crew. Alibaba- Dastaan-e-Kabul’ is a show like no other and will leave audience at the edge of their seats,'Tanisha said in a chat.
Talking about the character of Mariam, Tanisha said, 'Mariam isn't just any ordinary princess. She's fierce yet caring and considerate, affluent yet discreet, protected yet brave. The character is very different from any of my previous roles and I'm really excited to bring alive Mariam for viewers and my fans."
Sony SAB’s ‘Alibaba-Dastaan-e-Kabul’ has caused ripples amongst Indian television audience, with a jaw-dropping trailer that promises to make it the biggest family entertainer on Indian television. The majestic magnum opus has grabbed eyeballs with its larger-than-life production quality and visuals that bring out a grandeur hardly ever seen by television audience. While Sheezan Khan will portray the lead as Alibaba - a lovable vagabond held back by destiny, Tunisha Sharma will essay the role of Princess Mariam whose mesmerizing beauty, kind heart and gentle spirit will leave Alibaba smitten.
With a charming smile, Tunisha Sharma has amassed a huge fan-following in just a few years but it is her portrayal of a younger Katrina Kaif in not just one but two films that have the industry taking notice of her resemblance to the Bollywood beauty. Tunisha played the role of the young Firdaus in the Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer Fitoor and also essayed the younger Diya in Baar Baar Dekho.
As Mariam journeys in the show, aiding Alibaba in his quests while developing an intimate friendship, audience will feel just as much in love with the show and their characters.
Alibaba Dastaan-E Kabul will be telecast on Sony SAB from August 22 from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm.
