By Rajesh Ahuja

As India celebrates 75 years of Independence,  it is an occasion for people of the country to take pride on the progress made by the country in the post Independence period.

For actor Faisal Khan , it is an occasion to fondly look back on childhood memories of celebrating independence day in school.

Actor Faisal Khan said that he looks back on memories of celebrating Independence day in school

In a chat on the occasion of Independence day,  Faisal Khan,  who has won hearts of the audiences as Garud in mythological show Dharm Yoddha Garud,  said that he is proud to be an Indian.

Recalling fond memories of Celebrating Independence day in school,  Faisal Khan said, 'My fondest memory of this day goes back to my school days where we would celebrate this day in all its pride and glory. We would hoist our National Flag and sing the National anthem and for some reason back then also I was made to lead the show. I have always been interested in singing and it was a huge deal for me when they made me sing for this occasion. We would also get chocolates and sweets post celebration and these simple memories are something I really look back upon now.'

Greeting people on the occasion of Independence day,  Faisal Khan said, ' I would like to wish all my fellow Indians, a very happy Independence Day. I am very proud to be an Indian and I hope as a society, as brothers and sisters of this Nation, we continue to progress and make our country proud."

Faisal Khan is grabbing eyeballs as Garud in the mythological show Dharm Yoddha Garud, which is being telecast from Monday to Saturday on Sony SAB.
