Alia Bhatt to make her Hollywood debut with international spy thriller Heart of Stone


Heart of Stone,  starring Gal Gadot in the lead,  premieres on Netflix August 11

After Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Dimple Kapadia, the latest Bollywood actor to make her presence felt on the Hollywood skyway is Alia Bhatt who is ready to make her Hollywood debut with the international spy thriller Heart of Stone.

Alia Bhatt,  who will be seen in the love story Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,  scheduled to release in cinemas on July 28, is set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone,  which premieres on Netflix on August 11.

Directed by Tom Harper, the American action spy thriller stars Gal Gadot,  Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

Heart of Stone also stars Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi and Paul Ready in pivotal roles.

Gal Gadot stars as secret agent Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative for a  global peacekeeping agency who is racing to stop a hacker from stealing its most valuable and dangerous weapon.

In the film, Gal Gadot plays  a member of an elusive and mysterious group of elite spies known as the Charter. working together to keep peace in a turbulent world.

Alia Bhatt plays the antagonist Keya Dhawan,  the hacker who is out to  steal The Heart, the most valuable and dangerous weapon of the global peacekeeping agency.

Alia Bhatt is the latest in the line of Bollywood actors to make a foray in Hollywood.

She follows close on the heels of actors Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Dimple Kapadia,  who have in recent years made a foray in Hollywood.

The Screenplay of Heart of Stone has been written by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder while the story has been written by Rucka.
