Dangal TV launches TV show Rakshabandhan on theme of women empowerment & brother sister bonding

Ahead of the festival of Rakshabandhan,  Dangal TV has launched a new television show Rakshabandhan,  based on the themes of women empowerment  and brother sister bonding.

Rakshabandhan Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal,  which premiered on Dangal TV last night, is the story of a brother and sister who have a strong bonding with each other.

Howevewer, in a new angle in the subject of brother sister bonding, the sister is extremely protective of the brother and feels that like brothers, sisters should also protect  brothers.

Rakshabandhan features Nyra Banerjee and Nishant Malkani in the lead roles as the sister and brother duo.

Hardika Sharma and Azinkya Mishra play the child versions of the sister and brother.

The show focuses on the love of a brother and sister and how the stepmother is the villain and creates a rift between the two.

The show  will have many twists and turns.

Speaking about the show,  Manish Singhal, Director of Dangal TV, said, "Our focus is to tell stories that are socially relevant and this show seeks to portray women empowerment. In today's times when the entire world is going through a tough phase, we wanted to bring a story, that not only speaks of family togetherness but also celebrates the relationship of siblings and underlines the fact that women are at par with men in every relationship at home and outside.``

Attributing the popularity of Dangal , Manish Singhal said, 'we believe it is our audience who is responsible for our succes.nIt's not just Ratings, but it's also the belief that some stories need to be told and that we all have a responsibility to bring about a change and reflect the aspirations of our women in small towns.'

Singhal said that amid the threat of Covid-19 pandemic,  his channel has been making efforts to urge people to get themselves vaccinated to protect themselves from Covid.

'We have captured a vaccination drive in one of our promos in the hope that it reminds us all adults to get our vaccines in time."  

Rakshabandhan Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal is being  telecast on Dangal TV starting from 19th July 2021 Monday to Friday at 7.30 PM .

Launched in 2009, Dangal TV has earned praise for telecast of original shows and shows that mirror social reality.

Over the years,  the channel has created original shows such as CIF, Crime Alert, Shiv Arjun: Ek Ichchadhari Ki Dastan, Bahurani, Kahaani Ek Raat Ki, Phir Laut Aayi Naagin, Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi, Ek Anokhi Rakshak - Naagkanya, Devi Adi Parashakti, Aye Mere Humsafar, Prem Bandhan and Ranju Ki Betiyaan.

Owned by Enterr 10 Television Pvt. Ltd, Dangal was the most watched Hindi language channel in U+R category from week 13 of 2019 to week 26 of 2020.
