Shershah trailer promises tale of valour,indomitable courage & sacrifice for the motherland

Ahead of the premiere of Shershah,  a film based on life of Kargil hero Vikram Batra , the makers today unveiled the trailer of the film.

Sharing the trailer,  the producers Dharma Productions said, 'Legends don't die, they live in our hearts forever! Catch a glimpse into Captain Vikram Batra’s (PVC) unmissable story with the trailer of #Shershaah - https://bit.ly/ShershaahTrailer… #ShershaahOnPrime releases on 12th August.'

The films lead actors Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani also shared the trailer with the fans.

The trailer takes viewers through the valour and indomitable courage displayed by Captain Vikram Batra during the Kargil War.

The trailer begins with Siddharth Malhotra saying that 'Fauji ke Rutbe se bada koi Rutba Nahin Hota, vardi ki Shaan se badi koi Shaan nahin hoti aur apne desh se bada koi dharam nahin hota(there is no one with a  bigger stature than that of a soldier, there is no bigger honour than beinng a soldier in uniform and there is no bigger religion than  your vountry).'

The trailer takes viewers through Captain Vikram Batra's journey of becoming a legend for his valour and courage.

Makers of Shershah unveil trailer of the film 



A collaboration between Dharma Productions of Karan Johar and Amazon Prime Video, Shershah, which features Bollywood heartthrob Siddharth Malhotra in the lead role along with Kiara Advani, has evoked tremendous buzz among cinelovers.with it's promos and posters.

Directed by Vishnu Vardhan, Shershah , which is the first collaboration between Amazon Prime Video and Dharma Productions, will have its global premiere on the streaming platform on August 12.

Siddharth Malhotra said that he is excited over the release of Shershah.

'No one will understand how much emotional I am right now. . I am very proud of Vikram Batra.  I was waiting for this movie from past few years finally! It's here,'Siddharth Malhotra said.

Shershah  is yet another film,  after Hungama 2, Bhoot Police and Bhuj The Pride of India to opt for a direct OTT release due to continued uncertainty on reopening of theatres across the country due to prevalence of second wave of COVID-19 and looming threat of the third wave.
