Punjabi Film Puaada creates Buzz ahead of its release

With the  reopening of theatres after a prolonged period of shutdown due to Covid, the film trade is hoping for a return of the audiences to the cinemas with the release of  Punjabi Film Puaada,  Bollywood action thriller Bell Bottom and Hollywood film Mortal Combat.

Ahead of its release in cinemas this week,  Punjabi Film Puaada is creating tremendous buzz among film lovers.In fact, ahead of the release of the film, that features the popular pair of Ammy Wirk and Sonam Bajwa, the trailer of the film, released last week, has garnered 1 crore views.

The songs of the Punjabi comedy entertainer have created s lot of craze among the cinelovers .

The songs of the film have garnered a total of 2 crore hits.

In fact, the songs of the film are currently playing on radios and on mobile phones all across the region as audiences are eager to see their favourite jodi of Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa on silver screen for a fourth time.

Further , the Punjabi film is 7th most trending film on IMDB.

The film features on the top ten trending films on IMDB alongside  films like Bell Bottom and  Bhuj The Pride of India. 

This is for the first time that a Punjabi film has made it to a national most anticipated list and that’s quite an achievement! This just shows the anticipation and craze amongst the audiences not just only in punjab but all across the country!

Actors Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa are leaving no stone unturned for the promotions of this film. They have been relentlessly been promoting the film on their social media handles. 

Such  is the excitement for this movie that rather than the usual Friday release the makers have opted for a Thursday release

A Punjabi language word meaning “panga” or quarrel,  Puaada is a film  full of loads of comedy, entertainment, romance and dollops of madness. 

Puaada's lead actor Ammy virk is excited over the release of the film and eagerly awaiting the response of audiences to the film. 

“This is the perfect film for everyone to come watch for two hours and forget all their worries at home and just have a fun laughter ride at the cinemas,”  he said in a chat ahead of release of the film. 

This is the fourth film to witness the popular pairing of Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa,  who have given several hits to the Punjabi film industry . 

Talking about her crackling chemistry with Ammy Virk,  Sonam Bajwa said, 'our chemistry is natural and magical on screen. Right from our first film, Ammy and I have always had this natural ease with each other and that’s what the audiences enjoy.' 

A  mad, desi, comedy, romance, Puaada has been directed by debutante Rupinder Chahal and produced by Atul Bhalla of A and A Pictures and Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh and Aman Gill of Brat films.

The film is being released worldwide  by Zee Studios.  


Puaada was initially set to release earlier this year but it's release had to be pushed back due the the pandemic.
