Raahmika Mandanna wraps up shoot for her debut Bollywood film Mission Majnu

South Indian actress Raahmika Mandanna today wrapped up the shooting for her debut Bollywood film Mission Majnu, which features her in the lead role with Siddharth Malhotra.

Sharing pictures of the wrap up shot for Raahmika,  producers of the film said, 'and it’s a film wrap for the very lovely @iamRashmika ! Thank you for choosing #missionmajnu !! You’ve made the film even more special ! A big hug from all@of us!!  .'

Sharing the pictures of the wrap up shot of Mission Majnu, Raahmika Mandanna said,'It’s a wrap.. what a lovely lovely time I had shooting for #missionmajnu  I..for one..can’t believe.. I have already wrapped for my first Hindi film.. I remember the time I heard the script for the first time and I went like.. ‘I want to be a part of this beautiful film’.'

An Espionage thriller,  Mission Majnu has been directed by ad filmmaker Shantanu Bagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta under the banners of RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media LLP. The film features Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.

Mission Majnu  marks Rashmika's Bollywood debut.

A spy thriller set in the 70s, Mission Majnu tells the story of India's most ambitious covert operation against Pakistan.  Siddharth Malhotra assays the role of a RAW agent who leads the mission.

Talking about the film,  Siddharth Malhotra had earlier said, ''Mission Majnu is a patriotic tale that celebrates the hard work of the RAW agents who go out of their way to protect the citizens of our country.
It is a matter of privilege for me to tell the story of our brave agents.  I am eager to revisit a mission that forever changed relationship between India and Pakistan. '

Shooting for the film began in Lucknow in February this year.  The shooting for the second schedule of the film began in Mumbai earlier this month.

While only Siddharth Malhotra participated in the first schedule when it began, Rashmika Mandanna joined the shoot during the latter half of the Lucknow schedule  and during the second schedule in Mumbai.

Siddharth Malhotra was recently seen in the patriotic drama Shershah,  the story of Kargil war martyr Vikram Batra. Shershah premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.
