Vivek Agnihotri announces The Delhi Files, 3rd in trilogy of untold stories of independent India

After creating buzz with his film The Tashkent Files, a film which sought to explore the truth on the death of late Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri today announced his next film The Delhi Files, the third installment in the trilogy of films about untold stories of Independent India.
Sharing the first look poster of the film on social media, Vivek Agnihotri said, 'Few years back, I started telling untold stories of independent India. 1. The Tashkent Files - Right To Truth. 2. The Kashmir Files - Right To Justice (releasing soon) Happy to announce the last and the boldest of the trilogy: 3. #TheDelhiFiles - Right To Life. Pl bless us.'

Agnihotri said that The Delhi Files is his boldest film which exposes 'a gut wrenching tale of our times'.
'Hiding truth, denying justice and no value of human life are blots on our democracy. The Delhi Files is my boldest and exposes a gut-wrenching tale of our times. Starting shoot soon in Hindi and Punjabi,'he said.
Shooting for the film, to be made in Hindi and Punjabi, will begin soon.
Based on true events, The Delhi Files is being presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal and produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and I am Buddha Production .
The Delhi Files is third in the trilogy of films about untold stories of Independent India.
While the first in the trilogy of these films titled The Tashkent Files dealt with the mystery behind the death of late Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second The Kashmir Files deals with the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits.
The Tashkent Files, released in 2019, won tremendous acclaim from critics .
It won the National award for Best dialogues and screenplay.
