Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra commence shoot of Hindi remake of Telugu film Hit

Remakes of South Indian blockbusters seem to be the flavour in Bollywood.
After Malayalam psychological thriller Forensic, now Telugu blockbuster Hit is being remade into a Hindi film.
Shooting for the film, featuring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra in the lead roles, commenced today.
Shooting of the film titled Hit The First Case kickstarted with the muhurat clap given by producef Bhushan Kumar of T series.

Present during the muhurat shot of the film were the lead actors Sanya Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao along with the director Shailesh Kolanu, who also directed the original film.
A thriller, Hit The First Case is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju and KuldeepRathore.
Sanya Malhotra has said that she is happy to be a part of this project.
“I have watched HIT and I really liked the concept of the film. When the film was offered to me, I immediately said yes. It is a very interesting and intriguing story that deserves a mass audience. I am looking forward to this one and excited to work with Raj,'Sanya Malhotra said.
HIT – Homicide Intervention Team’, is the story of a police officer who is on the trail of a missing woman. The original Telugu film starred actors Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles.
Sanya Malhotra was last seen in the slice of life comedy Pugglait, which premiered on Netflix earlier this year.
Pugglait is a film about a young woman who finds purpose of her life after death of her husband.
Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment, Pugglait , streamed on Netflix, features Sanya Malhotra, Shruti Sharma, Rajesh Tailang, Sayani Gupta, Ashutosh Rana and Raghubir Yadav in lead roles.
Sanya won lot of critical acclaim for her performance in the film as a middle class girl who finds her purpose in life after the death of her husband.

She will in the coming days be seen in crime thriller Love hostel, where she is paired with Vikrant Massey.
Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the horror comedy Roohi, which released in theatres in March.
