Sharp witted & iconoclastic intel agent Himmat Singh returns with his back story on Disney Hotstar Nov 12

He kept the viewers engaged with his oconoclastic investigative moves and his sharp witted mind in the espionage thriller Special Ops,  streamed on Disney Hotstar in 2020..

Espionage agent Himmat Singh will be back on the digital screen this Diwali with his  thrilling and engaging back story,  which charts his journey from a rookie RAW Agent to the espionage agent he is today.

Special Ops 1.5,  the prequel of Special Ops that takes audiences through the journey of Himmat Singh to reach his present position,  will premiere on Disney Hotstar on November 12.

Disney Hotstar last evening unveiled the trailer of the web series that provides viewers a glimpse into the thrilling and action packed back story of Himmat Singh.

The trailer gives a peep into Himmat Singh's initial days in the RAW which saw origin of his theory of  a mastermind  in the 2001 Parliament attack..

Espionage thriller Special Ops, streamed in 2020, saw Himmat Singh carrying out a  massive manhunt for the mastermind in the Parliament attack by setting up a task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world .

The trailer of Special Ops 1.5  sees Himmat Singh make efforts to convince his seniors in the RAW and people in the police establishment of the efficacy of his theory.

It also provides viewers a glimpse into his love story.

Earlier this week,  the makers of the series had released its teaser .

While Special Ops 1.5 will see Kay Kay Menon reprise the role of Himmat Singh assays by him in Special Ops, streamed in 2020, it also features Aftab Shivdasani,,
Adil Khan, Vijay Pathak,  Gautam Kapoor and Parmeet Sethi in key roles,.

Streaming on Disney Hotstar from 2020, Special Ops, directed by  Neeraj Pandey,  is the story of RAW Agent Himmat Singh and his efforts to unravel the mystery behind the attack on the Indian Parliament.

The series shows that Himmat Singh, after finding similar patterns in terrorist attacks and convinced that  a single person is behind all the attacks, set up a task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world with the aim to catch the mastermind.

 The story is inspired by several espionage missions undertaken by India in the last two decades.
