NFDC unveils poster of biopic on life of Bangladesh founder Mujib Rahman

The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) today unveiled the first look poster of a biopic on life of founder of Bangladesh Mujib Ur Rahman, a joint film production venture of India and Bangladesh.

Being directed by veteran Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal, Mujib The Making of a Nation is a joint film production venture by India and Bangladesh.

Arising Shuvoo and Nusrat Imrose Tisha play lead roles in the film,  which is a
story of an inspiring statesman and the greatest leader of Bangladesh. .

.The film, will be released as part of centenary celebrations of Banga Bandhu Mujibur Rahman.

An MOU for the production of the film was signed between National Film Development Corporation and Film Development Corporation, Bangladesh was signed in January  2020 in the presence of then Information and  Broadcasting minister r Prakash Javdekar and his  Bangladeshi counterpart Muhammad H Mahmud.

India has extended its support to establish a film city in Bangladesh and also have technical exchange between NFDC and BFDC.
