Sandeep Kapoor's Turban & Pattern selected as official entry at the India International Short Film Festival

After establishing a niche for himself with films like Jugaad, Anarkali Ara Wali and the award winning Bhonsle, filmmaker Sandeep Kapoor has notched another feather in his cap with two of his short films Turban and Pattern being selected as an official entry at the India international Short Film Festival.

Turban has been directed by Ravindra Siwach while Pattern is directed by Sachin Karande.

Pattern is the story of a boy who is harassed by children in his school but through his courage,  hard work and intelligence,  he forced the other children to treat him like a normal child.

The second film Turban is based on the 2020 riots in East Delhi which saw great protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register for Citizens (NRC) take a violent turn.

Produced by Sandeep Kapoor and directed by Ravindra Siwach, Turban explores the mindless violence by a frenzied mob during  the  violence  The film shows how an innocent child is killed by terrorist rioters. However,  when the rioters come to know about his reality, they are left  stunned.

The film stars Kartikya Goel in the lead role of a young man who fights for dousing the fire of hate by spreading love . The film aims to bring across the message of communal harmony .
