Bob Biswas to have its World television premiere on April 30

After entertaining cinegoers on Zee5 with its intriguing storyline and brilliant performances by Abhishek Bachchan,  Sujoy Ghosh's crime thriller Bob Biswas is set to have its World television premiere on Zee Cinema on April 30.

A spin off from the 2012 Sujoy Ghosh's film Kahaani which featured the character of Contract killer Bob Biswas, streamed on Zee5 earlier this year, was produced by Sujoy Ghosh and directed by his daughter and debutant  director Diya Annapurna Ghosh.

The film,which featured Abhishek Bachchan in the title role with Chitrangada starring as the female lead,  will be telecast on Zee Cinema on April 30 at 9 30 pm.

Bob Biswas   got acclaim from critics and audiences for its intriguing mystery and a brilliant performance by Abhishek Bachchan.

Bob Biswas endeared viewers  with its poignant tale that effectively brings out the turmoil raging in the heart of contract killer Bob Biswas to somehow break away from his dark past and lead a peaceful life with his family.

Abhishek Bachchan won acclim from film critics with his  virtuoso act as contract killer Bob Biswas. who has forgotten about his past and unsure about present.
