Speaking on the occasion, Producers of the film clarified that Bal Naren is not the story of childhood of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is the story of a child Naren , born in a village in Uttar Pradesh, who draws inspiration from PM Modi's Swachch Bharat campaign to run a cleanliness campaign in his village.
A boy with a different and deep perspective towards life, Naren lives for welfare and progress of his village.
After the death of his father, Naresh realises that the pollution and filth in the village has become a major reason for people's death, but no one in the village takes any initiative to clean the village.
Drawing inspiration from the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naren decides to clean his village on his own. Though struggling with problems, he is able to inspire kids like him to be a part of this cleaning campaign.
During the spread of the Covid pandemic, Naren inspires every person in the village to stay safe and take precautions and succeeds in keeping the village Corona Free.
Bal Naren has been directed by Pawan KK Nagpal.
