Sports biopic Chakda Express to premiere on Netflix soon

After the inspirational story of India’s most successful woman cricketer Mithali Raj in Shabaash Mithu,  the story of the highest wicket taker in the history of women’s cricket will be streamed on Netflix soon.

Chakda Express, the inspirational story of Jhulan Goswami who, against all odds, rose above misogyny, politics and a million discriminations, to become the
highest wicket taker in the history of women’s cricket, will premiere on Netflix soon.





Sports biopic Chakda Express to premiere on Netflix soon 



Chakda Express is among the slate of upcoming films on Netflix this year, unveiled by the streaming platform on Tuesday.

Produced by Kamesh Ssharma and directed by Prosit Roy,  Chakda Express stars
Anushka Sharma, Renuka Shahane, Anshul Chauhan, Koushik Sen and Mahesh Thakur. In key roles.

Chakda Express tells the story  of Jhulan Goswami who, against all odds, rose above misogyny, politics and a million discriminations, to become the
highest wicket taker in the history of women’s cricket, thus becoming an inspiration to an entire generation of sportswomen.

Earlier this year,  we witnessed the release of Shabaash Mithu,  the  inspirational story of former captain of the Women's Cricket team and India’s  greatest woman cricketer Mithali Raj in cinemas.
