After impressing audiences in the political thriller Anek and medical drama Doctor G,  Ayushmann Khurana is set entertain with the action drama An action Hero, which releases in cinemas on December 2.

Directed by Anirudh Iyer, An Action Hero is the story of superstar,  youth icon and Action Hero Maanav who, after reaching the pinnacle of his career at a young age of just 30, meets with an accident which brings an upheaval in his life.

Once a household name,  Maanav now finds himself living in hiding.

An Action hero also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a pivotal role.

The release of An action hero comes after the critical acclaim for Ayushmann Khurana's last film Doctor G,  the story of a person who wants to be an orthopaedic, is forced to take up gynaecology.

The film, which won praise from audiences and critics for its theme and performance by Ayushmann Khurana and Rakul Preet Singh,  took an opening of Rs 3.87 cr at the box office.

The release of An Action Hero has evoked lot of buzz among cinelovers which trade experts feel could translate into a good opening for the film.
