Playing a  house maid in Main Raj Kapoor Ho Gaya was challenging: Shravani Goswami

She is a popular face on films and television, having worked in TV shows like Baal Shiv,  Ishq Mein Marjaavan and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai and  films like Bhuj The Pride of India .

Actress Shravani Goswami,  who was last seen in the film Bhuj the Pride if India,  will be seen in a key role in the upcoming film Main Raj Kapoor Hogaya,  which releases in cinemas on February 17.

Shravani,  who was in the capital city of Delhi for the promotion of her upcoming film, said that she is fortunate to have got an opportunity to play a challenging role in her latest film.

Talking to reporters during her visit to Delhi,  Shravani said that doing the role in Main Raj Kapoor Hogaya was quite challenging.

'I play the role of a house maid in the film. Doing this film was very challenging as my role in it is in sharp contrast to the characters I have played till date.

Till now, I have always done roles of very high class lady. However, this role was totally opposite to anything I have done till date,'Shravani said

Shravani,  who was accompanied by the director and lead star Manav Sohal, said that she did a lot of preparation for the role of a house maid .

'For assaying the role I closely studied the body language and mannerisms of women working as house maid. Also, having been born and brought up in Delhi,  it was difficult for me to speak in Marathi. But I’ve done it very well,'she said.

Shravani said that she is fortunate to have got an opportunity to play a challenging role in Main Raj Kapoor Hogaya.

Main Raj Kapoor Hogaya is the story of a person who is an ardent fan of Raj Kapoor.

While talking to media, the film's director  and lead star Manav Sohal Said, “I have been a big fan of Raj Kapoor Saheb since childhood. The film is the  story of a fan of Raj Kapoor. Main Raj Kapoor Ho Gaya” is the story of a fan who considers Raj Kapoor as everything in his life. “

Main Raj Kapoor Ho Gaya” is releasing in theatres on February 17.
