Netflix back with S2 of  Indian Matchmaking; Sima Taparia returns to  host S2

After creating a lot of buzz with its first season, the popular show Indian Matchmaking returns for its second season on Netflix.

Netflix today announced the Season 2 of the show on its official Instagram account.

'Keep your Biodata ready because Sima aunty is returning with Season 2 of Indian Matchmaking,'Netflix  said.

Sima Taparia, who hosted the first season,  returns to host the second season of the show.

The first season of Indian Matchmaking, which premiered on Netflix in July 2020, was a big hit.

The Indian Matchmaking season 1, followed single men and women trying their luck in an arranged marriage set up.

It followed acclaimed matchmaker Sima Taparia as she arranged marriages for singles in the U.S. and India. 

The show had its cast members spread across India and USA.


Infact,  Sima Taparia was nominated at the 73rd Emmy Awards under the 'Outstanding Unstructured program category.

Sima Taparia was recently seen in the Bigg Boss OTT,  which is being streamed on Voot.
