Bade Achche Lagte Hain 2 on Sony TV from tonight, Nakul Mehta,Disha Parmar step in shoes of Ram & Sakshi

A decade ago, Ekta Kapoor revolutionized the television scene in the country with Bade Acche Lagte Hain, the unconventional love story of two different individuals in their late 30s who are forced to get married due to circumstances but develop a feeling of love towards each other over a period of time.
Ten years after Bade Achche lagte hain, Ekta Kapoor is back with a reboot of the iconic love story of Ram and Priya,which will feature a new generation of actors.
Stepping in the shoes of actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, who immortalized the characters of Ram and Priya with their effortless performances in Bade Achche lagte hain, will be new generation actors Nakul Mehta and Disha Parmar.

Ahead of the release of Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, Nakul Mehta and Disha Parmar said that they will be looking to create the magic of Bade Achche Lagte hain once again in the new edition of the iconic show.
Nakul Mehta said that he is privileged to have got an opportunity to work with Ekta Kapoor who has been a trendsetter on the small screen with her iconic shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyunki SaaS Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasauti Zindagi Kay and Bade Achche lagte hain.
'I have been in the industry for the last 8 years but my journey still feels incomplete. Ekta kapoor is a person who set the mould on television in last 20 years . It is a dream come true to be working with her,'Nakul said.
He said that together with ekta Kapoor,he and Disha Parmar would be looking to recreate the magic of Bade Achche lagte hain.
'Together with Ekta, we will try to create the same magic as Bade Achche lagte hain had created, 'he said.
Disha Parmar said that doing Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 has been her biggest achievement till date,
'I am really happy and proud to be a part of this show. I feel that doing this show has been my biggest achievement till now. I am really grateful to Ekta Kapoor for letting me be a part of this.
I am really excited as well as nervous and look forward to the reaction of the audience.
Ekta Kapoor has said that coming up with a reboot of Bade Acche Lagte Hain is to showcase the show to the modern generation .
'Bade Achche lagte hain was basically about the phenomenon of Urban loneliness. There is a whole new generation who have not seen the show. They don't know that urban loneliness in 30s is a reality,'Ekta said .
Ekta Bade Achche lagte hain is as much relevant today as it was ten years ago.
'Urban loneliness is a part of modern life. Those who do not get married by the age of 30 feel that their life has finished. Urban Life is quite lonely as we do not love in extended families in cities. And even if we do no one has time for each other.
So these people look for a life partner. This was an idea which was the centre point of the first season and the new season as well,'Ekta Kapoor said.
Ekta Kapoor said that she was locking to recreate the magic of Bade Achche lagte hain with Nakul and Disha.
' I hope audience will give Bade Achche Lagte Hain 2 the same level of success that they gave to the original show. I am hoping that we create the same magic as we created with Bade Acche Lagte Hain.,'Ekta said.
The first season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain, which premiered on Sony Entertainment Television on May 30, 2011 , was based on the Gujarati play Patrani by Imtiaz Patel, .
The show explores the worlds of its protagonists, Priya Sharma (Sakshi Tanwar) and Ram Kapoor (Ram Kapoor), who accidentally discover love after getting married.
Over the years, Bade Achche lagte hain has become one of the most iconic shows on Indian Television.
