Aparshakti Khurrana makes his debut as lead actor with Helmet,Dino Morea turns film producer with film

After playing supporting roles in films like Stree, Dangal and Street Dancer 3D, actor Aparshakti Khurrana will be making his debut as lead actor in Hindi films with the comedy Helmet,  which will premiere on ZEE5 tomorrow.

Helmet, which  will star Aparshakti Khurrana in the lead opposite Yesteryears actress Nutan's granddaughter Pranutan Bahl , also marks actor model Dino Morea's foray in film production. The film marks the directorial debut of Satram Ramani.

Helmet will also feature Ashish Verma, Abhishek Banerjee and Dino Morea in pivotal roles.

A quirky comedy based in the heartland of India,  Helmet deals with a topic that it embarrassing for most people in the country.  The film tries to deal with the subject in a hilarious and comic manner.

Ahead of release of the film,  Dino Morea,  who makes his debut as film producer with Helmet , says that as a producer is looking to back films with a niche content.

'As a producer , I am looking to produce films that are different from the run of the mill,'he said.

Incidentally, Dino Morea will also be seen in a pivotal role in Helmet.

Aparshakti Khurrana, who plays the male lead in Helmet, has earlier played supporting roles in the horror comedy Stree, Street Dancer 3D and Dangal.

Helmet's female lead Pranutan Bahl is the daughter of Bollywood actor Mohnish Bahl and the granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan.

Pranutan Bahl had made her debut in Bollywood with the film Notebook, produced by Salman Khan.

Pranutan starred opposite Zaheer Iqbal in the film.
