Meenakshi Sundareshwar trailer gives glimpse in newly weds struggle to sustain long distance relation

A newly wed from Madurai are  forced to maintain a long distance relationship due to a unique job prospect of the husband in Bangalore.  

While initially, the two are comfortable in the arrangement,  over time, maintaining the conjugal bliss increasingly becomes a struggle which seems to push the marital relationship to the edge of a breakdown.

The trailer of  Meenakshi Sundareshwar, the much anticipated film about the various hassles and hiccups faced by a couple forced in a long distance relationship and the hilarious situations arising from their long distance marriage, gives the viewers a glimpse into the struggles involved in a long distance marriage.

Produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Vivek Soni,  Meenakshi Sundareshwar, the story of a couple Meenakshi and Sundareshwar who are forced to live apart due to a unique job prospect, streams on Netflix from Diwali.

The trailer of the much anticipated film, unveiled by Netflix today, takes viewers through the various challenges faced by the couple in navigating the various ups and downs in their marital journey as the long distance between them becomes a barrier in communication.

In one of the scenes,  the husband Sundareshwar is seen saying that 'long distance relationships are hard to maintain'. 

Set in Madurai in Tamil Nadu, Meenakshi Sundareshwar features Sanya Malhotra as a girl next door who is ready to give it her all to maintain a long distance relationship with her newly wed if it helps to bloster his career prospects.

'If it is good for you,  it is good for the two of us, 'Meenakshi says in a scene in the trailer. 

Meenakshi Sundareshwar features Abhimanyu Dassani as the husband Sundareshwar who is caught between his desire to remain close to his newly wedded wife and the need to bolster his career prospects.

Meenakshi Sundareshwar marks the digital debut of Abhimanyu Dassani,  who has earlier worked in the film Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota.

Sanya Malhotra was earlier this year seen in the film Pugglait  on Netflix.  She was also seen in Anurag Basu’s Ludo,  which was streamed on Netflix and Shakuntala Devi , streamed on Amazon Prime Video. 

Meenakshi Sundareshwar has created a lot of buzz among viewers for its unconventional theme .
