In a pleasant surprise for Fans of Bollywood  heartthrob Hrithik Roshan on his birthday,  the actor today wowed cinelovers as well as the Hindi film industry with his rugged look as Vedha in his first look poster of the South Indian remake Vikram vedha.

The actor unveiled his first look as Vedha from Vikram Vedha,  a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Vikram Vedha.

The first look poster of Hrithik Roshan left his fans as well as the film industry excited.

Hrithik's look as Vedha set off comparisons with Akshay Kumar's look in the  gangster drama Bachchan Pandey.


Being presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and S. Sashikanth’s  YNOT Studios’, Vikram Vedha  stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, with Radhika Apte playing a pivotal role.

Pushkar and Gayatri, the original writers and directors, are helming the Hindi remake too.

Vikram Vedha is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 30 this year.

A cult classic in its own right, ‘Vikram Vedha’ is a neo-noir action thriller based on the Indian folktale ‘Vikram aur Betaal’. The film tells the story of a tough police officer who sets out to track down and kill an equally tough gangster.

The original Tamil blockbuster starred R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.

This will be the first time that Hrithik Roshan will be seen on the silver screen after his 2019 blockbuster War, directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring Hrithik Roshan alongside Tiger Shroff.

Hrithik Roshan will in the coming days also be seen in the action thriller Fighter, where he co stars with veteran actor Anil Kapoor.

He will also be seen in Krrish4.
