Spider-Man crosses Rs 200 cr in India,third highest earner from Hollywood in India

Continuing its strong run at the box office in India, Spider-Man No Way Home crossed the figure of Rs 200 cr at the box office, becoming the third highest earner from Hollywood in India after Avengers Endgame and Avengers Infinity.
Spider-Man No Way Home performed well on the New Year weekend with earnings of Rs 12.75 cr , taking its earnings at the end of its third weekend to
Rs 202.75 cr.

The film did excellent business in South India though its collections in the North Indian market was affected by the release of Pushpa (Hindi ) and 83 as well as due to fresh restrictions imposed by the various state governments .
Spider-Man No Way Home has become the third highest earner from Hollywood after Avengers Endgame and Avengers Infinity War.
Trade experts feel that the film could well reach the box office figure of Rs 225 cr in its entire run in India.
The Hollywood film, which earned over Rs 100 cr in its opening weekend, has continued its strong run at the box office in its first and the second week amid a below average run by the Bollywood film 83.
The film continues to draw crowds in its third week , riding on the immense popularity of the Spider-Man Franchise.
