Time to  revisit Bollywood stars’ digital performances as Ajay Devgn-starrer Rudra releases on Disney+ Hotstar

As Bollywood star Ajay Devgn gets ready to make his digital debut with Action thriller Rudra The Age of Darkness, to be streamed soon on Disney Hotstar, it is time to revisit web series and films featuring well known Bollywood that have been streamed on the digital platform in the last two years.

The past two years have seen actors Sushmita Sen, Alia Bhatt, Abhishek Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan entertain audiences with their web series and films streamed on Disney Hotstar.

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen impressed viewers with her performance in S 2 of Aarya,  streamed on Disney Hotstar last year.

A sequel to Mahesh Bhatt's classic film of the 90s, Sadak 2 stars Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

Sadak 2 is the story of Ravi, a suicidal taxi driver, who plans to shut shop when a young girl, Aarya, compels him to take her on a life-altering journey to Kailash.

The year 2021 saw Abhishek Bachchan impress viewers with his performance n The Bigg Bull, a film inspired by the story of stock broker Harshad Mehta.

The Bigg Bull is the story of Hemant Shah who, during the late ‘80s, pulled off the biggest hustle that shook India’s financial fabric.

Saif Ali Khan impressed viewers with his performance in Bhoot Police,  streamed on Disney Hotstar last year.

Bhoot Police is the story of two brothers Vibhooti and Chiraunji who have ‘fought’ their share of ghosts. However, a new case forces them to rethink their abilities and beliefs.







Besides the above web series and films,  the last two years has seen  Disney+ Hotstar stream series and films of stars like Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Rajkummar Rao 

. Adding to this list of stars making their foray on the digital screen with a series on Disney Hotstar is Ajay Devgn, one of biggest  Bollywood stars.

Ajay Devgn debuts on OTT with his crime thriller, Rudra - The Edge of Darkness. 

, Ajay Devgn will don a new avatar of a fierce cop, taking viewers on a journey into the dark oceanic depths of criminal minds.

Spanning over six episodes, this gripping series is an Indian rendition of the iconic and globally successful British series, Luther.

Rudra - The Edge of Darkness releases in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam and Bengali on Disney+ Hotstar.
