Strong emotions,great performances,  amazing special effects make Dharm Yoddha Garud a must watch

Mythological are back in Vogue on television.

Several years after the legendary tales of Lord Rama's triumph over the evil Ravana in Ramayana and story of the mighty Pandavas vanquishing the Kauravas in  Mahabharat ,series of shows narrating untold stories of mythical heroes of Indian mythology have been entertaining viewers in the television space in the last few years.

Latest in the line of such shows is Dharm Yoddha Garud,  which is currently being telecast on Sab TV.


DharmYoddha Garud is a must-watch show with strong emotions, greatperformancesandamazingVFXandspecialeffects,  




Dharm Yoddha Garud tells the inspiring story of the King of Birds Garud (Faisal Khan) who freed himself and his mother Vinta(Toral Rasputra) from the shackles of slavery of his evil aunt Kadru through his grit, valour and determination.

Despite being born as a bird-human with incredible strength and powers to Rishi Kashyap and Vinta, Garud is compelled to obey the orders of his cunning aunt Kadru and his stepbrothers including Kaaliya and the 100 snakes.

Born to great supernatural powers,  Garud is shown to be a repository of strength who has the power to vanquish demons and anyone who brings pain to his mother.  Viewers are given a glimpse into the immense powers and strength of Garud in the opening episodes itself.

The show also brings across to the viewers the strong emotional bond between Garud and his mother Vinta that touches the heart.  A scene in the opening episode where Garud,  who had gone to fetch water for his mother,  finds her sleeping and stands on her bedside the whole night to ensure that she gets water whoever she needs it during the night, is deeply touching and leaves you emotional.

The show boasts of amazing VFX and special effects especially in the scenes of battle between Garud and demons and his confrontation with the 100 sons of evil Queen Kadru.  All these scenes add to the thrill level of the show.

Another USP of the show are its performances. After an impressive show in Chandragupta Maurya,  Faisal Khan yet again shows his brilliance as Garud.  He brings across in his character the steely determination to free his mother from the shackles of slavery of his aunt Kadru.

Toral Rasputra is impressive as Garud’s mother Vinta who is stoic through her pain of having to do slavery of her sister Kadru and her 100 sons. The highlight of the show is, however,  Parul Chauhan as evil Queen Kadru.  Parul is a revelation as the devilish Kadru who finds pleasure in humiliating her sister by subjecting her to slavery of herself and her sons. Her character comes across as a sharp contrast from her sweet girl portrayals in her previous shows.

Angad Hasija is impressive as Kaaliya.

In short,  Dharm Yoddha Garud is a must-watch mythological show with strong emotions and Amazing VFX and special effects that lend an element of thrill to the show.
