Wagle Ki Duniya completes 300 episodes

Slice of life comedy Wagle Ki Duniya,  story of day to day life of an Indian middle class family,  as completed another milestone of 300 episodes.

Launched as a modern-day rendition of the 80’s sitcom created by RK Laxman; Wagle Ki Duniya is the story of Indian television's most endearing television family,  which has been capturing thoughtful storylines which revolve around the everyday life of a common man, his family and how they navigate through the challenges in the most unique ways.


Wagle Ki Duniya completes 300 episodes 





Over its journey of 300 episodes,  the show has managed to resonate with audiences. From Rajesh Wagle’s (Sumeet Raghavan) ingenious ideas to manage day-to-day adventures to the level headedness of his warm-hearted wife Vandana (Pariva Pranati) the antics of their kids Sakhi (Chinmayee Salvi) and Atharva (Sheehan Kapahi) and the Senior Wagles, Srinivas (Aanjjan Srivastav) and Radhika (Bharati Achrekar), it has been a delight to watch them maneuver through their daily lives and support each other.

Over the last 300  episodes, Wagle Ki Duniya, in its humour and subtlety has touched upon several topical issues and life experiences that induce inspiration and relatability. The show has not shied away from speaking on period taboo, good touch - bad touch, work-life balance, women empowerment, and continues to do so in the most unique ways.

Through their journey,  Rajesh Wagle and his family have  become a part of our everyday life now. 

Sumeet Raghavan,  who essays the role of Rajesh Wagle, said that Wagle Ki Duniya is the story of our everyday heroes and carries a message of how to make our ordinary lives extraordinary.

I enjoy playing Rajesh because I relate to his plight, and I have faced similar situations in my family so there has been a lot of learning on the way. Pariva Pranati, who essays the role of Vandana Wagle,  said that the show has won hearts of audiences with its relatable theme and characters.


“What I love the most about Wagle Ki Duniya is how the show makes it so easy for the audience to relate with and keeps everything real. The issues that the show reflects on, need to be spoken about and such representation makes it easier for a lot of people to inculcate good values and practice them in their everyday life.

Vandana Wagle is a boss lady and the way she manages the household, the kids and her passion is commendable.
