Parents should serve as an example to their children rather than giving them advice: Neetu Kapoor

As she gets ready for her comeback to films after a long gap with Jug Jugg Jeeyo,  a film about family values, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor has her own take on relationship between parents and children in a family.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi during a  promotional  visit,  Neetu Kapoor 
counselled all parents to serve as an example to their children rather than offering any advice to them.

Addressing a press conference for the film,Neetu Kapoor, who was accompanied by co actors Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani, said,'
today's generation is very much independent and intelligent. My advice to  all parents is  that instead of giving advice to your children be an example to them on  how you want them to be.

Make such an environment where they can naturally learn from your actions " 

Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar,  Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which  hits cinema screens on June 24, is a story  about family and its values, unresolved yearnings and unexpected reconciliations.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is the story of businessman Bheem and his wife Geeta who live in Chandigarh with their daughter Gurpreet aka Gunny.

Speaking at the press conference,  actor Varun Dhawan said he is extremely  excited about the film and is privileged to share screen space with veteran actors Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor .

'I am delighted to share screen with Anil ji and Neetu ji. I have been their fan since childhood. I am very excited for the release of the film."

Jug Jugg Jeeyo marks the comeback of Neetu Kapoor after a long gap since her last film Besharam,  where she shared screen space with her late husband Rishi Kapoor.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo has witnessed encouraging reports of advance booking for the film.

The film has created a lot if buzz among cinegoers due to it being the comeback film of Neetu Kapoor,  it's attractive promos and chartbuster  songs.
