Jannat Zubair makes waves as the youngest contestant in Khatron Ke Khiladi

Janna Zubair Rehmani, who has carved a niche for herself with her appearances in television shows like Phulwa and Tu Aashiqui, is in the news for being the youngest contestant of the twelfth edition of the adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Jannat , along with television artists Aneri Vajani, Rubina Dilaik Chetna Pande, Sriti Jha, Shivangi Joshi, Mohit Malik, Nishant Bhatt, Pratik Sehajpal, Rajiv Adatia, Tushar Kalia, Faisal Shaikh , Erika Packard and Kanika Mann, is currently shooting for the twelfth edition of the adventure reality show in Cape Town in South Africa.

Jannat,  who is the youngest contestant of the adventure reality show,  has been making news for mental toughness while performing daring stunts on the show.

On her participation on the adventure reality show,  Jannat Zubair said, 'Height, age, weight are only numbers and it may come as a surprise but they don’t matter in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Will power and mental toughness is what you need to be able to perform each stunt that’s unveiled along the way. '

Commenting on Jannat Zubair being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, the CEO of Mad Influence Gautam Madhavan said, ' It feels amazing to know that Jannat is a part of the show and that too is the youngest contestant! She’s achieved so much but still, she is up to trying new things and challenges. I wish her all the good luck, I’m sure she’ll be amazing. '

The twelfth edition of Khatron Ke Khiladi is being hosted by filmmaker/ Ohio Shetty. This is the eighth year of his association with Khatron Ke Khiladi.

The 12th season of the show is set to air from  July 2 on Colors.

Earlier this week, Colors TV shared a teaser of the popular reality show on its social media handles.

“Khatron ka vaar hoga iss baar non-stop! Dekhiye Khatron Ke Khiladi, 2nd July se, har Sat aur Sun, raat 9 baje, sirf Colors par (Watch Khatron Ke Khiladi on July 2, every Saturday and Sunday from 9 pm onwards on Colors TV),” the channel said  in its caption.

The teaser features Rohit Shetty standing on a road, while a group of vehicles come toward him. Just as a biker coming near him attempts to strike him, the  director takes  out his weapon and wrenches it out of his hand, making the biker fall.
