I have always wanted to be an actor: Gayatri Bhardwaj

She has caught the attention of cinelovers with her girl next door looks in the romantic comedy Ittu Si Baat,  which released in cinemas on June 17.

Model turned actress Gayatri Bhardwaj is the latest beauty from the modeling world to make her entry in the Mumbai film industry with the slice of life love story.

As she basks in her Bollywood debut,  Gayatri Bhardwaj, who rose to limelight with her win in the Miss India Delhi beauty pageant in 2018, said that she has always wanted to be an actor.

In a chat ahead of the release of her film, Gayatri Bhardwaj said, 'I have always wanted to be an actor, especially after my journey to win Miss India. '

The latest beauty from the modeling world to try her luck in Bollywood,  Gayatri Bhardwaj feels that there is a vast difference between the world of modeling and films.

'There is a lot of difference between acting and modeling. Definitely, beauty paegents help you to improve your presentation skills as an actor. However,  as a model one has to look perfect all the time while being an actor requires you to let go of yourself,'she said.

A  Delhi based model and actress, Gayatri Bhardwaj made her acting debut with Bhuvan Bam 's digital series Dhindora last year.

Gayatri played the role of Dr Tara in the web series.

She has also appeared in a few music videos.

In Ittu Si baat , Gayatri Bhardwaj  plays the female lead opposite Bhupendra Jadawat.

Directed by Adnan Ali, Ittu Si Baat is a slice of life love story of an upcoming cricketer who falls in love with his childhood friend and who goes of his way to fulfill her aspirations .

Set in the small town of Chunar near Varanasi,  Ittu Si Baat takes  iewers on of Bittu, who learns about the aspirations of his childhood crush Sapna and the extent to which he goes to fulfill her dreams.

Ittu Si baat stars Gayatri Bhardwaj as Sapna and Bhupendra Jadawat as Bittu.

The film also stars Ravi Chauhan, Dhirendra Gauram and Farida Jalal in key roles.

Ittu Si baat has been produced by Narendra Hirawat, Karishma Sharma and Laxman Utekar.
