Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan & Kiara Advani excited at release of their next film Jug Jugg Jeeyo

Almost a decade after she shared screen space with her husband Rishi Kapoor in Besharam,  Neetu Kapoor will return to the arclights with the romantic comedy Jug Jugg Jeeyo,  which hits cinema screens on June 24.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo,  produced by Dharma Production and directed by Raj Mehta, will star Neetu Kapoor along with Anil Kapoor,  Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.

Directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar,  Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta,  Jug Jugg Jeeyo stars Anil Kapoor,  Neetu Kapoor,  Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles alongside Prajakta Koli and Manish Paul.





Neetu Kapoor returns to the Silver screen after a long gap in jug Jugg Jeeyo 



Jug Jugg Jeeyo is the story of businessman Bheem and his wife Geeta who live in Chandigarh with their daughter Gurpreet aka Gunny.

The film marks the return of Neetu Kapoor to films after a long gap since her 2013 film Besharam.

Ahead of the release of the film, Neetu Kapoor,  Varun Dhawan , Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor said that they are excited for the release of the film.

During a promotional visit of the film in Delhi,  Varun Dhawan said that he is happy to share screen space with veteran actor Anil Kapoor.

'I am excited to share screen space with Anil Kapoor sir. I just love Anil sir and his energy, 'Varun told reporters.

Varun's Co star Kiara Advani said that she loved playing  Punjabi girl in Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

'I am fortunate to have played a  Punjabi character in many of my films. In this film too, I get to play a Punjabi girl. I am very excited about the release of the film, 'she said.

This is Kiara's second film with Raj Mehta, the previous one being Good Newwz.

'This is my second film with Raj.  In his previous film too I played a Punjabi girl, 'Kiara said.

The film also stars Manish Paul in a key role.

The makers recently released a song of the film titled Punjaabban.

Talking about the song, Varun Dhawan said, 'the song has turned out to be amazing. '

Speaking about the song, Kiara said, 'the Punjaabban Song has a lot energy and good vibe.'

The release of jug Jugg Jeeyo comes after several postponements due to Covid.
