Hindi remake of Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights Katha airs on Sony TV from today

Continuing with its endeavour to bring to viewers thought provoking shows like Dhadkan Zindagi Kii and Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Sony Entertainment Television will telecast from tonight a series inspired by the Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights.

Katha Ankahee, the Hindi remake of Turkish series One Thousand and One Nights,  popularly known as Arabian Nights,  premieres on Sony TV tonight.

Produced by Sunjoy Waddhwa and Commal Waddhwa under the banner of Sphere Origins,  Katha Ankahee is a love story revolving around an unforgettable wound that creates a rift between Katha and Viaan,  yet keeping them bound.

To be aired from Monday to Friday at 8: 30 pm, Katha Ankahee, which stars Aditi Sharma and Adnan Khan in lead roles, brings out the complicated relationship between Katha and Viaan and their emotional turmoil and dilemma.

Aditi Sharma, who earned popularity for her portrayal of Mauli on Silsila badalte Rishton Ka, will be portraying the role of Katha while Adnan Khan will essay the role of Viaan.

Katha Ankahee stars Sheen Dass and Samar Vermani in pivotal roles.

It is the latest in the line of thought provoking shows by Sony Entertainment Television after the medical drama Dhadkan Zindagi Kii and the mature love story Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
