Family dramas Apne,Dharam Veer & Munnabhai MBBS to entertain viewers on Sony MAX in September

As the continuing threat of Covid-19 in the country and looming threat of third wave makes stay at home the norm during the approaching festival season,  Sony MAX entertainment channel has lined up a series of Family dramas to entertain viewers during this period.

Lined up for telecast on Sony MAX in September are  Family dramas Apne, Dharam Veer, Jis Desh Main Ganga Rehta Hai and Munnabhai MBBS that serve as a perfect get together for families during the festival season.

September 7 will see the telecast of the family drama Apne,  which witnesses the members of the Deol family of Bollywood - Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol- share screen space . Scheduled for telecast on September 13 on Sony MAX is the Govinda Sonali Bendre starrer Jis Des Main Ganga Rehta Hai while September 13 will witness the telecast of the action drama Dharam Veer.

Rounding up the month will be the quirky comedy Munnabhai MBBS,  which featured Sanjay Dutt in the memorable role of Munnabhai. Munnabhai MBBS will be telecast on Sony MAX on September 29.

Featuring the terrific trio of  Dharmendra along with his dashing sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Apne is a perfect family drama, which tells the emotional story of the bonding of a father (Dharmendra) with his two sons(Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol) .

Apne  perfectly defines the meaning of 'love' and 'sacrifice. Apart from delivering a powerful message, the film promises romance, family bond, great music, along with phenomenal performances by Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol who will keep you engaged till the very end.

Jis Desh Main Ganga Rehta Hay  -on September 13

With the portrayal of an emotional bond of love between a son(Govinda) and his parents,  Jis Desh Main Ganga Rehta Hai is a quintessential family drama.
. The film humorously yet effectively teaches us how certain relationships can be extremely special and the bond can be irreplaceable. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film features Govinda in the lead role along with a talented congregation of artists, including Sonali Bendre, Rinke Khanna, Milind Gunaji and Shakti Kapoor.

Dharam Veer on September 17

Manmohan Desai's Dharam-Veer promises an action-packed evening featuring an ensemble star cast like Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Zeenat Aman, Neetu Singh and Pran. Set in days of British India Raaj, Dharam Veer narrates a saga of twin brothers separated at birth who find their way back during their adulthood as best friends, unknowing of their real bond. The interesting part is to see how their friendship faces multiple obstacles like fighting villains to discovering love and so on.

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S on  September 29

Concluding this month-long line-up is the Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi starrer blockbuster film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. What continues to make this movie special is the on-screen pairing of the real-life father-son duo Sunil Dutt Saab and Sunjay Dutt. Watch how far Munna can go to salvage his father's pride in this quirky entertainer that also features Gracy Singh and Boman Irani who play adorable father-daughter duo.
