Sardar Ka Grandson to have its World television premiere on Sony MAX on Sept 12

After leaving audiences teary eyed with its emotional story of a US returned man who is willing to go to any lengths to fulfill the last wish of his grandmother,  Sardar Ka Grandson is set to have its World television premiere this month.

After it's premiere on Disney Hotstar This Summer, Sardar Ka Grandson,  which features Arjun Kapoor,  Rakul Preet and Neena Gupta in lead roles,  will have its World television premiere on Sony MAX on September 12.

Highlighting the emotional connect one shares with their grandparents, Sardar Ka Grandson dwells on a complicated yet comic journey of human emotions.

Sardar Ka Grandson is the story of a 90-year-old Sardar Kaur ( Neena Gupta) in Amritsar who wants to revisit her pre-partition home in Lahore. Her US returned grandson ( Arjun Kapoor) promises to fulfil her last wish but destiny thwarts their plans midway. Out of despair and desperation, her grandson declares "If you can't go to that Lahori Ghar, the house will come to you!"

Directed by Kaashvi Nair, Sardar Ka Grandson scores on a heartfelt storyline brought to life by a host of incredible performances. Besides featuring Neena Gupta as the loving Sardar Kaur and Arjun Kapoor as her grandson,  it features
Rakul Preet Singh , Kanwaljeet Singh, Soni Razdan and Kumud Mishra in key roles.

While Neena Gupta looks endearing as the loving granny, Rakul Preet Singh is a treat to the eye along with Arjun Kapoor whose impeccable comic timing is the film’s highlight. The supporting cast comprising of Kanwaljeet Singh, Soni Razdan and Kumud Mishra are earnest as ever including the handsome John Abraham and the beautiful Aditi Rao Hyderi, who  steal the thunder in brilliant cameos.

Sardar Ka Grandson will be telecast on Sony MAX on September 12 at 12 pm.
