Mystery thriller Candy premieres on Voot Select tomorrow

Mystery thrillers seem to be the flavour on OTT.
Adding to the list of crime thrillers on various digital platforms this year is Candy, a film that revolves around a series of mysterious happenings at a boarding school nestled in the hills where a lot of secrets seem to be hidden in a piece of Candy,.
Featuring Ronit Roy and Richa Chadha in lead roles, Candy is about murder of student of the boarding school in the hills of Rudrakund during a cold winter.

As the student of the school is found murdered and another girl student goes missing, a school teacher and mentor to the students Jayant Parekh(Ronit Roy) ,
feeling personally responsible for the tragedy, dons the mantle of an amateur detective and goes scouting for the murderer.
His investigation puts him in conflict with Rudrakund's top officer, DSP Ratna Sankhawar ( Richa Chadda) .
As the two join the hunt for the killers, they come across a series of mysterious happenings in the precincts of the school.
Candy features Ronit Roy as a teacher of the boarding school and Richa Chadha as a police woman investigating the mysterious happenings in the boarding school.
The trailer of the film, unveiled by Voot Select last month , promises an exciting edge-of-the-seat thriller, with several twists to keep the keep the viewers riveted .
Directed by Ashish R Shukla and produced by Optimystix Entertainment, the mystery thriller will see Ronit Roy and Richa Chadha sharing screen space for the first time.
It also features Manu Rishi, Gopal Dutt and Ridhi Kumar in pivotal roles.
Richa Chadha was last seen in the political drama Madam Chief Minister, Ronit Roy was last seen in the web series Saat Kadam on Eros Now. He will also be seen in the Hindi film Shamshera and the Telugu Hindi bilingual Liger.
